POSITIONS

 

H&I – Tim

 

All commitments filled, no new information from last month. H&I meeting upcoming on

 

the 16th. More information to come after that. MSP.

 

SPECIAL EVENTS – Kristen

 

Had a comedy night in theory but didn’t really happen. Ideas to do a district pot luck

 

night of fun but looking for ideas from the group. Kevin spoke with people from bowling

 

alley and they are cool with having us come potentially on a Sunday. Still trying to nail

 

down a price because it is based on how many people are coming. Potential date is

 

January 10th, the second Sunday in January. MSP.

 

PUBLIC INFORMATION – Conner

 

The recovery school at Kean needs mentors and especially women. The need someone

 

with at least 2 years between the ages of 21-35. Twice a month they are looking to take

 

someone out for a couple of hours. Anyone interested can go through Conner. MSP.

 

WEB & TELEPHONE – Doug

 

Website is up all up to date. Telephone has had no missed calls the entire month. MSP.

 

WORKSHOP – Kevin

 

Looking for ideas and suggestions. There is an idea to have a workshop to be a tighter

 

fellowship and possibly have it focus on the traditions. Nothing else planned at the

 

moment. MSP.

 

LITERATURE – Pat

 

We finished last month with $654, books and chips were ordered. Starting balance was

 

$304, sold $29 worth of merchandise and finished with $333. MSP.

 

DSR – James

 

Bill reporting that November area was rescheduled because of booking complications.

SUNDAY KEYPORT – Kelly

 

Motion was made to keep the meetings at an hour and 15 minutes. MSP.

 

MONDAY SOUTH AMBOY – George

TUESDAY AVON – Tim

 

Attendance has been very solid. All is well financially and in the new church. All service

 

positions are filled. In the process of doing group inventory and the committee is in

 

process to get New Year’s location and party in order. MSP.

 

TUESDAY ROSELLE – Terry

 

Meeting go well – average 25-30 people a night. Filling both commitments at Carnie.

WEDNESDAY MIDDLETOWN – Greg

 

Meeting going well. Have about 50-60 people and filling up with people from rehabs.

 

Elections are next week after regular meeting. Will be discussing donating money to the

 

church for Christmas. MSP.

 

WEDNESDAY UNION – Matt

 

Nothing new to report. Meeting is fine. MSP.

 

THURSDAY KEYPORT – Liam

 

Meeting is good. Celebration is tomorrow night, which was skipped because of

 

Thanksgiving. Now doing a pizza party on the second Thursday of the month to get to

 

know the members better. MSP.

 

FRIDAY FREEHOLD – Billy

 

Meeting going well. Attendance has stepped up. Elections are coming up for next month.

 

Donating $100 to district. MSP.

 

SATURDAY TOMS RIVER – Tony

 

No new updates. Meeting exists as far as we know. MSP.

 

NEW BUSINESS

 

January 10th is the official bowling date @ 1:30pm at Strathmore Lanes in Aberdeen.

There is a CA District H&I Committee meeting on April 19th, 2017 after the Middletown Meeting at 8:30pm. It will be held at Christ Episcopal Church, located at 90 Kings Hwy, Middletown NJ 07748. H&I needs your support! See you there!!
